A healthy mind in a neat house, a high-rise cliché, but certainly no less true. Think of your week as a fresh start with a tidy desk, an organized closet, and a mess-free living room. Cleaning the whole house is not necessary but having breakfast in a quiet and calming space on Monday morning is much more pleasant, believe us!
- PLAN YOUR MEALS
Sunday is the ideal day to stop for a moment on the menu for the following week. Plan and think about what you are going to eat on which day. Take advantage of your Sunday to prepare healthy soups, gourmet muesli and small homemade vegetables; then reserve everything in the freezer to save time during the week!
- PREPARE YOUR BUSINESS
In the morning, you have one thing in mind: get out of your house as soon as possible after your shower and your breakfast to avoid being late. Do not waste two hundred years in front of your wardrobe and prepare your outfit for the next day on Sunday evening! Also prepare your bag and your office stuff, so you do not have to look for your keys for half an hour…
- REVIEW THE WEEK
A busy week ahead? To avoid thinking too much in bed and making you anxious unnecessarily, the most effective way is to put everything down on paper. This way, you write down your tasks in black and white and make sure you do not forget them. Do not forget to plan some time for exercise (yes, yes) and for your hobbies!
- TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF
This is certainly important: take time for yourself. It does wonders for your well-being, reduces stress, and allows you to approach the week ahead more relaxed. Take at least half an hour to meditate, do yoga, take a nice walk, or take a nice bath. Do not feel guilty if you are lazy, it is incredibly good for your health!
